"Lab" as laboratory for creation, interaction and brainstorming.

On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th June 2013, about 50 participants met at the Key Theatre in Peterborough for the first event of the Anglo-French ZEPA network, the ZEPA 2 Lab.

For two days, ZEPA 2 partners, representatives from local authorities, universities and arts organisations, and outdoor arts companies from both sides of the Channel have initiated discussions to develop the joint local artistic projects to be implemented between 2013 and 2014.
The Lab was also an opportunity for all participants to get to know each other, and particularly discover the companies invited: UK companies Wet Picnic and Ramshacklicious, Irish company Bui Bolg and French companies G.Bistaki, Les Cubiténistes and Scopitone.

A summery of these fruitful exchanges and first ideas will be available soon.

Vivacity, new ZEPA 2 partner and Lab organiser on behalf of the ZEPA 2 network, took this Anglo-French meeting opportunity to launch the programme of the Peterborough festival, of which the "Fête Franglaise" will be a key Anglo-French artistic highlight of the festival, on the 7th-8th September.
