’Contemporary circus in rural settings’ conference in Poole today

The seminar ’Contemporary Circus in Rural Settings - Exploring the uniqueness of new circus in rural locations’ is held today Friday 12th September 2014 in Poole. As part of the European network PASS Circus, it is organised by PASS partner Activate, in the lead up to their Inside Out Dorset festival, and it is aimed at new circus/contemporary circus professionals, artists and producers.

Seminar programme

The discussions and debates will focus on programming circus in rural places, including outdoor, hence the participation from circus and outdoor arts PASS and ZEPA partners Jean-Pierre Marcos, Pôle National Cirque et Arts de la rue d’Amiens Director, Joe Mackintosh, SeaChange Arts Chief Executive in Great Yarmouth.
