In Picardie

In Picardy, the Amiens-based Pôle National Cirque et arts de la rue (PNCAR) has developed partnerships with various local organisations including local authorities and arts organisations, to propose Confluences Nomades, a programme of outdoor and circus shows across the Picardy region.

Getting out of Cirque Jules Verne and meet the local audience proposing high quality shows is one of the main aims of the PNCAR.

In 2014, several UK companies will be touring in various places in Picardy, including:

  • Acrojou, with The Wheel House, in Guise (17th Aug), Chateau-Thierry (13th Sept) and Flers (14th sept)
  • Avanti Display, with Mr Lucky’s party, in Hornoy-le-Bourg (28 Aug) and Abbeville* (20th and 21st Sept).
  • Bash Street Theatre, with The Strong Man, in Corbie (28th June) and Beauquesne (4th July)
